”My goal is to provide tangible skills in each session so that you leave with a new piece of knowledge and understanding to help you on your journey.”

Jennifer is currently accepting new clients with no wait times and has daytime and some evening availability for virtual and in-person sessions at St. Joseph’s Villa in Dundas, Ontario.

I am incredibly passionate about what I do. I feel that I was put on this earth to help people heal.

Imagine a space where your struggles are met with understanding, your pain with compassion, and your potential for growth with unwavering belief. This is the environment I strive to create as a nurse psychotherapist, blending the art of healing with the science of the mind.

My journey in healthcare began over 17 years ago, but it was in the realm of mental health that I found my true calling. Like a compass finding its true north, I discovered that my purpose lay in guiding others through the stormy seas of mental health challenges, whether they involve addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply the complexities of everyday life.

In my practice, I see beyond labels. I recognize that everyone has their own unique story, struggles, and strengths. While I have extensive experience supporting individuals grappling with addiction, I also work with clients who seek help for a variety of mental health concerns. I understand that issues such as stress, anxiety, trauma, and depression can affect anyone and often intertwine with one another.

I believe in the power of second chances and personal growth. Whether you are navigating the challenges of addiction or seeking support for anxiety or depression, my approach is to gently unravel these threads and seek the root causes rather than merely treating symptoms.

Having witnessed countless journeys of recovery and self-discovery, I know that setbacks can be part of the process. In these moments, I stand beside my clients, offering guidance on rebuilding relationships—with family, friends, and most importantly, with themselves.

My commitment to healing extends beyond my professional life. As a living kidney donor, I've experienced firsthand the profound impact of giving a part of oneself for another's well-being. This personal experience deepens my empathy and fuels my dedication to making a difference in each client's life.

In our sessions, expect a warm, inclusive space where you can feel safe, validated, and empowered. Together, we'll explore practical strategies to improve your current situation—whether it's managing stress, addressing anxiety or depression, or navigating personal growth—always moving at a pace that feels right for you.

I understand that finding the right therapist is crucial. That's why I offer free meet-and-greet sessions. It's an opportunity for us to connect, for you to ask questions, and for both of us to ensure we're the right fit for this important journey.

Remember, seeking help is not a sign of weakness but a courageous step toward reclaiming your life. If you're ready to take that step—whether you're facing addiction or simply seeking support for your mental health—I'm here to walk beside you, offering support, guidance, and a steadfast belief in your ability to heal and grow.

Taking the first step toward healing can be daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you're ready to explore how we can work together to support your mental health and well-being, I invite you to reach out. Let’s start this journey toward a brighter tomorrow together.
